Nadav Tomer

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Tomer has more than two decades of experience in leadership roles within the medical technology sector, running global franchises at Johnson & Johnson focused on a range of therapeutic areas including diabetes care, spine, cardiology, endovascular, orthopedics, and electrophysiology, both in the US and Europe. Mr. Tomer was most recently the Global President of Johnson & Johnson’s DePuy Synthes Spine franchise. Mr. Tomer serves on the board of directors at Augmedics, Agada Medical, and Vascular Graft Solutions. He is a graduate of the Advanced Management program at Harvard Business School, holds a B.S. in medicine from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and an M.B.A. in finance and new ventures from Bar IIan University.

Bob Howe

Chief Financial Officer

Bob Howe joined Cynosure in June 2023 as Chief Financial Officer. Bob has over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry in public and private equity-backed companies. Prior to joining Cynosure, Bob was most recently the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Conformis, Inc., a publicly traded company in the orthopedic joint replacement market, where he led the Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technologies organizations. Before that, Bob spent five years at NxStage Medical, Inc., as Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller, where he was responsible for corporate financial planning & analysis, financial reporting and controls, shared services, treasury, and tax. Bob also held senior financial positions at Lake Region Medical, a medical device contract manufacturer. He began his career in the medical device industry at Boston Scientific, where he spent 17 years and held financial leadership roles in three of the company’s operating divisions and senior roles in manufacturing and corporate finance. Bob earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies from Babson College and an MBA from Boston University. Outside of work, Bob enjoys spending time with his family, snowboarding, mountain biking, and fishing.

lae Hoon Yoo

Chief Operations Officer

Jaehoon Yoo has built his 29-year career in areas including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing in the Automotive industry. He began his career in Daewoo as an R&D Engineer and was soon dispatched to GM HQ in the USA for two years as a resident Engineer for Product development. He expanded his expertise by taking on significant roles at Delco Remy, which was spun out from GM, where he served as a Plant manager and CTO. Next, he garnered experience in the Lithium-ion Battery industry, working as a Vice President at Emer 1, a world-leading Lithium-ion Battery company, for five years. Through this experience, he was able to develop his Manufacturing career in multiple industries. In December 2018, Yoo joined Lutronic as Chief Manufacturing Officer responsible for Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Purchasing. He was recently promoted to the President of Lutronic Corporation and Chief Operating Officer of the enterprise group while maintaining his performance in Production and Quality.

Min Shin

SVP of R&D

Min Shin joined Lutronic in May 2015, and prior to the Cynosure-Lutronic merger, he served as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Lutronic. Min Shin is a trailblazer in the semiconductor and aesthetic technology field. He has achieved significant milestones, including developing the world’s highest-quality blue semiconductor laser diode wafer at Samsung. This pioneering work marked a first for Korea, establishing him as a key figure in semiconductor technology. With a portfolio of over 150 patents, his contributions have significantly advanced the field of semiconductor Laser Diodes. Min began his higher education at Yonsei University in Korea, where he obtained a BS and an MS degree in Materials Science and engineering. Eager to expand his knowledge further, he then pursued another MS in Mechanical Engineering at Northeastern University, followed by a Ph.D. in Electronic Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University. This diverse educational background provided him with a robust foundation in his field’s theoretical and practical aspects.
